I'm running a simple intranet, served up on small LAN, operated by an NT Server4 box with IIS4.

I have disabled anonymous access, because different content on the intranet is supposed to be restricted, depending upon which user is logged on to a workstation. I have all of the permissions set up correctly, the only problem is with passwords...

After the user logs on, he enters his password (that's once), then when the user opens his browser to homepage he's prompted for a password (that's twice), and everything he accesses one of the audio files on the intranet, he is prompted AGAIN for username and password (that's 4,5,6,.. times). This is ridiculous!

What do I need to configure so that the user only needs to enter his or her password at the initial login, without him having to enter his password when accessing every resource?!
