I have a laptop that I use for work connecting to the corporate LAN over ethernet (DHCP, NT domain and MS Networking client). I recently got ADSL at home and installed the ISPs drivers/software on the laptop (ECI USB ADSL modem). All worked correctly using ADSL (including remote access to the corporate intranet via an IPSEC client - Nortel). Next time I connected via ethernet at the office, I could not contact the NT domain, TCP/IP was working corectly for all appls but no access to Microsoft networking (i.e. network drives). I removed the ADSL drivers/software and was able to connect to the NT domain, however my Internet Explorer 6 does not work correctly. IE6 will browse to web pages for a time, but after a while it starts giving "The page cannot be displayed" errors. IPCONFIG /ALL looks normal and IE6 is the only TCP/IP appl affected, all others work normally. I can ping both IP addresses and names successfully. I have reinstalled IE6 SP1, but no affect. Anyone got any ideas.....?
