Hi,

I have a laptop with wireless internet, using InternetExplorer over the network works just fine, but downloading from a source directly doesn't. For instance I can view a .swf file fine when it loads in IE, but when i try to download it directly from the same adress it doesn't work. P2P also fails to connect.

The systemadmin didn't block it, since other people can download just fine. What setting should I change to make P2P etc. possible?

Thanks

He could very well have blocked it with a firewall in front of the Wireless Access Point. I know I'd stick a firewall between a WAP and the rest of my network if I were an admin of a network using wireless.
