I have installed a wrg45g pci card on a comp with a new install of xp
I had to download the Ralink drivers as the Linksys drivers caused a BSOD documented here: http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/li...The router is a Belkin wireless G router F5D7230-4
I get a connection with excellent signal strength, But IE will not connect (I do have it set to auto detect settings)

It sounds like a DNS problem

I bet the IP responds & the name doesn't.

It's ok to have the router as the DNS if the router is connected properly to the net. That's why I suggested the two pings.
You can also use a static IP out of the DHCP range & the static DNS of the provider, which is what I do. I don't use DHCP for small networks.
