I have two machines a dell dimension xps t500 and a dell optiplex gx1. i want to use the dell dimension xps t500's wireless dlink dwl g520 card connection on the dell optiplex gx1 which has no connection i want to use ICS. is there a way i can do this without the need of a router like connecting ethernet cable or something. any help would be greatly appreciated. email me if you have any solutions.

If you just want to connect the two computers, use a crossover cable , and they start talking! You dont need a switch or a router.
Other hand, if you want to connect to the internet from both computers, enable ICS on the machine that is connected to the internet, and link both the computers via crossover!
