I have tried several times to revert to the orginal hotmail, but it keeps coming up as outlook I did not request this,at any time and feel this is a hi-jacking of my freedom to choose
Did you not hear Microsoft owns hotmail? Things change. Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

Re #4 I agree but short of taking it up with MS there's not much anyone can do.
