I have a Raspberry PI that i will call PI, i have a net book that i will call PC...
I have a wireless connection to my landlords router, theres Absolutely no way i can physically get to it, (but the password on it is default) its an unstable connection too, but that could be irrelevant for now.
I have used putty to communicate with my PI, I am using an Ethernet cable (crossover) I want the internet to work on both my PI and my PC, I cant get the net to work on the PI...I have noticed in network connections that there is three Icons;
one is my wireless network connection
the second i have called PI connection (i may be wrong) has "Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller" written after its name.
lastly there is an icon i have called '?' and says "Microsoft TV/Video Connection" after its name.
I want to know how i set these up to get my internet working on my PI, if i go into...
properties->advanced internet connection sharing i get a choice of who to connect to...but who do i connect to who??Could someone clarify this, even shed some light on this, or even find a really easy to follow tutorial explaining all this, its a mystery to me i would really like to solve.
Cheers helpful people :)
Share your Wireless network connection.
Right click on it, go to Properties-Sharing and check the first option.
