I want to connect my router to a proxy server

July 10, 2011 at 02:53:55
Specs: Windows 7
I want all the computers on my LAN to access via a proxy server in another country. I have a Netgear DG 834N router and would like that to connect to the proxy server rather than having to define it on each browser.

You cannot because the router/Modem still has to first connect to your ISP vie the IP address given to you by your ISP.. You cannot by-pass that. It is only after you have connected to your ISP that you can go to the proxy server.
