Specs: Windows 7
I have an arris modem from the ISP company and it works good, bat it is NO wireless model. So I have purchased arris WITH the wireless capability myself and ISP refused to support it so my guess that I need somehow to clone their old modem to my new one. Any help would be appreciated

Why buy a modem when a router would have done the job?
Take back the new modem and buy a wireless router which you then configure by connecting from current modem to WAN port of router and then follow the setup instructions in the router manual.

Its a great addvice bat is not an answer to my question. one device is always better than two devices in terms of dependability (at Least)

better to have two devices than one. cheaper to replace a failed unit as well as troubleshoot.

ISP isn't supporting the wifi model so you are out of luck.

Get the router.
