I have Win 2003 server running as DC with DHCP on it.
And program on Visual FOXPRO (CadCare 5.0) which is network program with clint and bd on server.
i have 8 PCs (2-win 2k, 6- win xp pro) connected to domain. when i am trying to run program from server on 2 and more machine it's so slow.
If i am remove pc's from domain and just shared this program on XP machine, all is working fine, i can connect all 7 machine to it, and run it with out any issues...
Any ideas why it is happening when it's on server?
thank you.

Reply:

1. program wasn't designed to run on server

2. server is under powered

3. workstations were not pointing to the server for dns

4. server dns isn't configured correctly

I couldn't even find the programs specs on the internet. Only referance I found were jamia ones in 2005
