I can't remember my SSID security key

I can't remember my security key and apparently my router is not on default settings. How do I reset my wireless router?

You download the user manual which has all the instructions you need. That is as long as your router has not been loaded up with any of the third party firmwares that seem popular with owners of that model.

By the way, you don't need to reset the security key. You only need to log into the admin interface to view the key in plain language. The manual will tell you how to do this. Hopefully when you set up the SSID & Security you left the admin login/PWD at default settings or can remember what you set them to, Otherwise you will need to do a full reset.

Usually you can press reset button at the back of router when it's powered on for around 30s to reset it to factory default setting. It will reboot automatically after successfully reset, but you need to reconfigure your router again later. You can check out this wireless router configuration example as needed.

If you have use computer to connect to this wireless network successfully before, you can use this wireless key finder on that computer to reveal the key.
