I can't get to mybboard.net & I don't understand why.
I have 5 browsers on my pc & they are all behaving the same way. They just sit and spin, never timing out.
I've tried deleting all of my history & TIFs in all browsers. It's not helping.
I contacted my isp & they can get there. They say the problem is on my system.
I can ping the site via ip & url.
I bypassed my router & it still does not work. I have the same problem on multiple PCs
I know the site is up as my friends can get There just fine....
I checked my hosts file. nothing
I updated & rescaned for malware & viruses, nothing....
Can someone please help? I need this site for work.

Did it ever work? Try updating DNS on your machine.

Thanks for the reply Jennifer.
Yes the site worked fine for about 2 weeks after I started going there. The first couple of days I couldn't get there were over a weekend & I figured they had the site down for maintenance or something.... The next Tuesday I started trying to find out what was wrong & discoverd the problem was on my end. Tomorrow will be a week of trying to solve this....(not nonstop thankfully) but I need to either get into their site or choose a different forum software for the site I am working on. I prefer mybb..
I reset my settings while on the phone with my isp.... they are currently set to automaticly detetect... as they were before. The tech said he could view it just fine from his browser & thought that ruled out any dns errors messing things up, since he was using the same dns settings as I am...

From a command prompt: ipconfig /flushdns

Thanks again Jennifer.
I flushed em' and it still will not work.
I can get there via proxy, but I am afraid to login (using a free one & I don't trust em). But that still does not fix my problem...
Any more ideas?

Well, This morning I checked & for some reason I can get through fine.....
I think my isp had a problem and they fixed it. Because I have not changed anything.
Thanks for the Help Jennifer.
