I cannot connect to any servers

Specs: Windows 7
I currently cannot connect to any game servers or sync my internet time or anything of the sort. I also cannot seem to P2P. I have tried to disable my firewall and checked if my ISP was blocking the ping but it was not. I have no idea what to do.

I had a same problem few days back and I followed these steps. You can also try it.

Check for a temporary service interruption.Restart all Internet connections.

The following steps turns OFF your equipment in a specific order, then turns it back ON in a particular sequence.
Turn off your computer. Unplug the modem’s power cord.If a router is connected, unplug the router’s power cord. If you are not sure about if you have a router you have to check for loose coaxial cable, Ethernet cable andUSB cable, if installed.

Plug back in the modem.
Plug back in the router, if you're using a router.
Wait two minutes for the modem to initialize its connection.
Turn on the computer

You don't have to actually shut the computer down to recycle the power on the modem and router. It won't hurt anything, but it isn't absolutely necessary either.

Some ISP's provide clients with a "combo device". That being a device that is a combination modem, router and access point all in one. So you'll either have one, or two devices on which to recycle the power. Obviously if you have one, there's no sequence to powering them down/up.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

Just unplugging the router for about 30 seconds can sometimes fix this type of issue.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
