I can see network but no internet

My wireless network will let me ping my laptop and my ipod, but I can only get to the internet with my desktop. I have reset both my DSL router and my Dlink. I have taken off all protection and every firewall I can find, yet my laptop and ipod can't go to the internet.
What is funny is that my ipod updates my weather and e-mail, but still no internet.

how is the ipod connected to the internet? I don't recall these having an ethernet port but connect via the pc.

My ipod touch uses Safari via wifi. I actually prefer surfing the web on my ipod vs. my laptop

If your laptop still gets internet what ip address does it get?
Did you setup the dlink router? Has this ever worked?

Yes, it was working fine Thursday morning but Thursday afternoon it quit.
I have it working now. I started at the wall (DSL router) and reinstalled everything. It's a pain in the butt especially since I don't know what caused the problem to begin with.
Still have trouble sharing, but am working on that. The big issue is resolved.
