Hughesnet problems

I have hughesnet internet, it it worked fine until one day, when my download speeds droped to around 10-20 kbps ( i know i am not on fair access policy) i usually didnt get my promised speeds of 800kbps but i had around 150kbps wich was ok to me, but now i cant stream videos or downlod much of anything and i dont know what could be wrong. i called support but it only fixed it temporarly. the funny part is some days its totally fine then it drops back down. can someone help me?

It could be your transmitter and receiver or even your modem. try unplugging your modem for a minute and plug back in and see if that helps. I had to replace my transmitter when mine slowed down to the point I couldn't even get online.

it cant be my computer modem, because even my laptop gets slow internet connection, and iv tested without the router and it still doesnt help, and iv tried unplugging it and replugging it still no luck.

Log on to the modem (hughesnet) and see what is says. Might be an issue with the antenna or other lan or wan setting. It has a web based setup html page.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you peanut.
