It seems to me the download manager is probably not needed.

Point in fact, she's trying to download the 'download manager' without having it installed yet.

Personally, I stay away from stupid proprietary software providers try to pass off on their customers.

If however there's some reason she can't function without it you have two options as I see it.

1) Download it on somebody elses computer and put it on a USB memory key or CD to copy onto her PC
2) Call her provider and ask them what to do. It's their service and their stupid software after all. If anybody should be able to help fix this problem, it's them.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

I used to work for Xplornet and installed some HughesNet. I know the importants of having a Download Manager. Satellite internet isn't the quickest and not very reliable in bad weather so having something that will keep track of your download and freeze it if you loose connection is good to have.

I tried downloading the manager myself and had no issues installing it myself.

Here's the link where I got it: Download Here

AMD Phenom II X2 550 @ 3.11
Patriot PC2-6400 4Gig
