I have a 3com linkbuilder 10BT 24 port hub that sounds like a fan could be going out. Do these have fans in them, and if they do is there anyway to fix?

My D-link rack mountable switch sounds like its got a fan inside too.
Just remove the screws and you should be able to replace the fan (if there's no warranty for it) if there's still some warranty left, then call up 3COM and let them take care of it.
