HTTP Get requests

I've been trying to answer the following question for a while now, with no luck. I'm capturing an HTTP session with TCPDUMP, for example an HTTP request to google.com. in the trace you'll find multiple Get requests, requesting different resources (files). What I need to know is 1. How exactly does the client generate these get requests ( I know they get the information from the server, but not sure how exactly), and 2. How is the order of these Get request generated by the client determined. Thanks ... - Dan
