change jet direct 300x to dhcp or change the ip address from 192.168.99.5 to a completly different ip address, mask and gateway. Jet admin can't find the device because of different ip address. How can I get it changed?
Just set up a computer on the same subnet as the jet direct (connect them both to a separate switch if necessary and give the computer an IP address of, say 192.168.99.6) and make the appropriate changes. (DHCP might be the best option to avoid this happening in future - you can always tell the DHCP server to give this device a fixed address). Once you've done that you can set the computer back to its original settings.
