I want to attach a 2nd DSL line to the server but only use it for ftp. How do I set it up so that this second line (on a 2nd ethernet card) is only used for ftp traffic?

It is easy to understand how to set up incoming port 21 traffic to a particular ip (in the router port forwarding) but I don't get how to route outgoing port 21 traffic through a particular ip.

it's really easy, on one of your nic's just block both ftp inbound and outbound traffic.. you can do this with XP firewall...
One note: I take it you have load balancing working? if this is a XP machine or better, it's enabled.. the metric on the network adapters must be the same..
