I have decided that i would like to set up a home network, as i am sick and tired of waiting for members of my family to finish what they are doing to get on the internet. Below i will list what components i have and what i need to be able to do, and if possible could you pease tell me what i need to buy??

I have:- A new DELL desktop, 160gb hard drive fast etc, a dell aio, a toshiba 1 yr old laptop, an older tiny slowish desktop and a digital camera and another printer, oh and i have aol silver and pplan on setting up a home network even though they say its not supported people say its possible.

I would like to create a mixed wired an wireless home network, for the cheapest cost, but is reliable that can:- all computers get on the internet, all computers connect to both printers, i can save to any computer, oh and more than one computer can be on at one time.

Preferably i would like the dell to be wired(router next to it), the laptop wireless and the other pc to be wired or maybe wireless?

A quick reply would be appreciated...
Thanks
Matt

You can run a network with AOL silver. I have one, it works well. It's a cable network using BT 240. 4 port router
