hi i just recently bought the new wireless network adaptor for my xbox 360 because i was having problems with my ethernet port. I come home from the store and open the packcage and i put in the wireless adapter installation disc and my xbox will not read the disc. It just says windows mixed media and the only option is to eject. Please help me im getting so fed up with microsoft, i have had to go through two turtle beaches both of them broken, and my ethernet port breaks, and i have been hacked twice.

i have been hacked twice

I have no experience with xbox 360 online but if you're getting hacked, spend $50.00 (USD) and buy a SOHO Router. It connects as follows:

Internet >> Router >> xbox/computers

First, try that CD in your CD-ROM on your computer. If it reads if just fine, chances are your xbox is the problem and if that is the case, for your sake, I hope it's still under warranty or can be repaired easily (cheaply).

Oh, try using proper capitalization when typing. This isn't a cell phone, you're not texting, and it makes you look like you're illiterate, and, it's harder for us to read.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

Ive got the same thing. I just bought the wireless adapter and my installation disk just says "mixed media." I am thinking it might be a false cd. Ive gotten a connection with the hardware one good time, but without the software to back it up, the whole thing is useless. So do I have any alternatives? Could I install the software from somewhere onto a usb and install it onto my xbox somehow? Is there anyway I can by a replacement disk? I don't think my seller makes refunds. I need help on this one
