What device are you using to log all web traffic on your network? It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.***William Henley***
You need to deploy an internet monitoring program to do the job. For example, WFilter, websense, untangle box.
An internet monitoring program can monitor and filter internet activities of all network computers from a mirroring port of your switch. And you don't need to install any agent in the client computer.
thats a very good answer.....let me give more details regarding my query......is there any possibility to monitor the client computer which is not in the network of mine...and conected through internet in a different location
i want a software which when installed in the clients computer..it continuously sends the webhistory in a text format to the email id i specify.client must not have the privilages to alter the email id.is there any software like this.if so..do tell me d info.regards
In that case, you need to install a client agent in the target computer. Try "spectorsoft" to check whether it can fit your needs.
