Hi All, I have another question for you guys about sharing Internet access. I have Netzero running on my PC1(Wins 2000 Pro), and I want another computer to be able to connect to my PC1 to share the Internet conection. I mean, I want 2 computers can be able to get online at the same time. How can I do that? Both have NiCs. Please help. Thanks a lot.

You got two options. Buy a router and set up a network so both computers can access the internet through the router. Or conect a modem to pc1 connect the computers using crossover cables and configer the network to allow ics (internet connection sharing). The second way would be cheaper because you wouldn't have to buy a router, but if pc2 wants to acces the internet pc1 would have to be turned on.

I have a router. So, I prefer to use the option1 as you said above. Below is what I think how to connect it together. Please help me if I am doing wrong.
1/ Have the phone line plug into the 56k dial-up modem for regularly making internet connection. 2/ Connect both PCs to the Router using NICs. 3/ Go to Netzeoro property and enable it for "Sharing".
Please help tell me if I need to do something else. Thanks a lot.
