How to Set-up D-LINK DI-524 for Vista

I am needing help setting up my D-Link wireless router to my computer which is Windows Vista. Could I please have a step-by-step walkthrough with regards on how to set this up.

Step by step.

Step 1. Download the manual for your router or insert the disk if you have it.
Step 2. Read the manual.
Step 3. Connect to the router using an ethernet cable.
Step 4. Log into the router admin user interface by opening a web browser and typing the defaule IP into the addressbar.
Step 5. Enter the default admin user ID and Password that you found in the manual.
Step 6. Navigate to the wireless setup page
Step 7. Follow your nose to turn on wireless. Give it an SSID name and set it to broadcast.
Step 8. Select the wireless encryption standard that you want to use and make up a passphrase ( If using WPA)
If you want to use WEP there some other tricky bits. Ask about them.

Step 9. Save and exit.
Step 10. Disconnect the ethernet cable and turn on your wireless NIC in the Vista machine. Let it search for and discover your wireless connection and try to connect to it. Enter the passphrase.
