I wanted to use my laptop while watching TV without running a cable across the room. So, I bought a NETGEAR WNR34Bv2. You can just connect wireless router’s LAN port to Ethernet router’s LAN port by using a crossover cable, then configure the wireless router as access point only. After that you can join the wireless network to access Internet.

Thank you very much for the response. I note the phrase "configure the wireless router as access point" has a link. I download that instruction and will attempt the "fix." This pictures is exactly what I am trying to do. I hope before the evening is to far gone I will complete the task. I note that when I first attempted to insert the wireless router the setup configuration would not complete so, I'm not sure exactly how to change the IP address but will work on it. Clifford
