Solved How to set up a router ( What cable to connect where)

Specs: Windows Vista
My router is a Dlink Model DI-624
My modem is an Arris Model TM502G

I don't remember how to set it up. That is what cable goes where & is there anything to do on the PC With WiFi for it to connect with my router?

I am 70 years old with a limited knowledge of computer and other electronic gadgets

If your highspeed internet is cable:
Coax cable goes into modem. Network cable goes out from modem to external (WAN) port of router. Client computers plug into the LAN ports of the router.

If it's ADSL:
Phone line goes into modem, everything else is the same as above.
