NET SEND 192.168.0.125 TEST MESSAGE

sends it to that address,

and

NET SEND * TEST MESSAGE

Is Net Send a NT specific command? Is there a version that will work with Win98? I have some Net XX commands available, but 'send' is not part of it.

Thanks

Also, where could I download it

Net send uses NetBIOS port 139.

As for RFC's, dunno. Take a look at RFC 1001, 1002 or 1088.
