How to remove icons from system tray

Hi! I am having two systems Win95 & Win98 on two pcs. Normally, whenever we load some programs which run background leav an icon in system tray.

Can anyone suggest how to remove or hide these icons from system tray without stopping/aborting the background program.

No, there is no way to do that. You can remove them only whole, so they don`t start at all.

It depends on what the program is. Some programs can be set not to load in the sys tray apon startup. Just look in the options or preferences.

yes,the second response is more correct.it all depends on the application.some have it, some dont.anyway.it doesnt make a difference if it is not there ,but running.;)
