Not all wireless routers have a repeater mode. Did you check your manual or the Netgear website?

If you're looking to extend a network using a wireless router, what you're looking for would be "wireless bridge mode", not repeater mode.

How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

If you do not have those modes you can "port forward" from one router to another. Easier to look it up than explain it.
