I sent a few messages to this forum about same problem. My problem is: I can ping every web adress, but no browse. At last I found out what is problem. It is: my port 80 is permanently blocked. How to make free. Is there some port tool to solve this problem. I can not use the Internet. OS:Win98 P3 1GHz 128 RAM

If I get what you mean I would say you want to install a "Web Server", they open up port 80
http://www.apache.org
or if running windows you might already have a web server on your machine or disk. its called "personal Web Server" for win98/me and "Internet Information Server" for win2k/xp google for keywords "web server" Good luck

Are you trying to run a web server?? Cause it actually sounds like you just cant pull up any sites in your browser. what browser are you using? and are you having any other problems with your pc?
