Hi All, I am after some advice about ghosting computers over a network. in the company we have got over 100 computers. what we want as a company is to have one ghost image saved on a server on our system and then need be able to go to the computer system and boot up a ghost program and restore it from the image on the server (does this make sense?) just to make things clear all the systems are the same spec.

Have you looked into "ghostcast"? If not, google that.

Back in the day we used to make a DOS based network bootdisk. Then you booted to the disk, got an IP from DHCP and mapped a drive to the folder containing the appropriate image and started the install.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
