Specs: windows 8
I would like to have the net in my shop and the shop is under a 1/4 mile away from the house. I have found a antenna that is drecitional and has good DB gain. What I can not find is a router/access point that will use the "N" connector that is on the end of the coax from the Antenna. Do you know of any one that has this kind of equipment. I have found all of the home type have hard wired antennas. Thanks

way on the over kill side I could pay for the 2nd drop to my shop for net hook up. What I was looking for was a rotter that has i input that will take an "N" conector from an antenna. I was hoping for some thing under $100.00

Not something I've come across before, so dun a wee trawl "out there (Skully); found this hit amongst others...

It appears to suggest an option or three?

And as likely what appear to hoping to is to effectively create a wireless bridge... This item from D-link may be of interest; it fas detachable antennae. There others makes/models too?

This is a general how to site:

although likely you're familiar with most of it already?

In terms of antennae connectors, if the high gain antennae has a different end connector to the router, then as in the first link above, consider making, or obtaining, an adapter cable?

And this is a link to google series of hits that provide adapters in the simple form of a "plug"

And they're seemingly "quite cheap/inexpensive" and on Amazon etc...
