how to get a network key

Specs: Windows XP
have a wifi adapter but most networks want a key im not that good at firgureing it out

In most cases accessing a wireless network is illegal unless you have have explicit permission to do so. The owners of these networks have set a key to prevent unauthorized access. Unless you have been given the key you have no right to access the network. The lack of a key does not grant you this right.

Many libraries, etc, do grant public wifi access to the internet. There will either be no key or you be given the key.
