Use a standard port on one device, and an uplink port on the other. Then use a standard Cat5 cable.

If you don't have an uplink port, you'll need to use regular ports, and a crossover cable.

With the proper tools, it's not too hard. If you don't have them, it's virtually impossible.

The easiest way is to go and simply buy one. They're not that expensive.
