i need to connect to a database server behind a firewall in a certain vpn from another vpn i work in. Both VPNs have separate network addresses i.e. 172.x.x.x and 192.x.x.x, their own routers, servers, etc.
scenario appeared when we have to automatically push data from server on the 192.x.x.x network to a database server on 172.x.x.x which is behind a firewall.

Are you sure you are dealing with vpn's not vlans?
concerning the firewall you would create a acl that allows that server ip address to communicate with the database server ip

i am thankful for your reply. But i hoped more elaborations to come. And of course from other guys, too.
Can you please describe it in detail.
As i have written the networks belong to different vpns but same company and the difficulty surfaced when the need for data to be available at the other end occurred.
I am an electrical engineer with a little acquaintance with cisco at CCNA level. More elaboration might help.
Thanks
