My ? is being I have a Intel PRO/1000 PL netrwork card that came already installed in my PC how can I use this piece of H.W. to connect the Play Station,if possible ? I do not believe its a wireless ethernet however can I hard wire the play station to this card to access the internet with the gaming system ? Right now Iam using Netzero High Speed Dialup service and believe me its not very high speed . I cannot watch video supplied internet becasue its takes so long for it to load and I also shy away from any downloads over 8mb's ! However Iam planing at the start of 2010 to get DSL ,either thru AT&T or I can stay with Netzero and use their DSL service . I cannot afford cable internet at this time. I believe I have two options ethier buy a wireless router for my PC or hardwire the PS3 to my PC using a network jack RJ45 ? If this is incorrect please let me know. At my workl they cancelled out cable internet and replaced it with AT&T DSL and there seems to be no change in access speed between the two differant internet services ,however the price differance is considerable !
Thanks for the replies !
Nick
