How do I connect my land phone to a computer and record calls automatically?
Please give me system specifications, required cables and adapters and also modems necessary for this to be possible.

You need a 56K analogue voice modem. You can either get an internal or external. An external modem will require an RS232 Serial interface on the computer and they are getting rarer by the day, otherwise you need one with a USB interface.

Once you have one the instructions will tell you all you need to know.

Way back about the time Windows got started or before there a device (8-bit ISA card) called the 'Complete Answering Machine'. It was an answering machine plus a timed outgoing voice message sender. Beautiful for wakeup calls or reminders because it would repeat the call untill the recipient entered a code.

I don't think the OP is after an answering machine. They have asked about "record calls automatically"

In many countries this is illegal unless the caller is advised in advance that their call may be recorded, or a court warrant is issued to allow a listening device to be placed by law enforcement.

In the States we have one party and two party States. I live in a one party state and can record all calls I want without notifing the person at the other end.
