I have a workstation(98) with WINLPD install. this system was I(guess) being used by 4 other workstations to print to 2 network printers in the office. Last month i had to reinstall the 98 System, and now the four workstation cannot print, also I couldnt find this printers on the network anymore.

the path that the printers was under was \\diane\8900old. how do i reconfigure winlpd to get these sys to print once again or to see these printer on the network.

A friend of mine was using my computer , and now all i get are pop-ups,IE script errors.

can you clarify a bit? the 98 machine you re-installed, was it named 'diane'?

if so, you have to install the printer to 'diane', share it, and then re-install it to the other pc's
