Hi my ip is 10.0.0.11, subnet is 255.255.255.0, how can I check if the broadcast address is 10.255.255.255?

If I run the command ipconfig /all in WinNT I do not see my broadcast address - how can I check it? The card is Compaq 10/100 Fast Ethernet (I forget the model number).

Thanks

bowza

HI
Well I don't know how to check the Broadcast Address on WIN NT but by the simple rules of Subnetting, your broadcast address should be

10.0.0.255 because you have subnetted 16 bits and your subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
