Buy a router with WEP.

Most likely, your router do support WEP encryption. See the routers manual on howto change wireless encryption in the routers configuration.

You do understand that wep and wpa have both been hacked. I can download utilities that can break into both. Only wpa2 has not been hacked. Going to wep is the wrong directions if concerned about security.

sorry for the late reply, i have been busy. the problem is that, there was already a router here, when we bought a house. then my parents decided to keep the router and there was no handguide left, and i dint found one on the internet. my router is a 0XB9, for if that might help. and i indeed know wep is a bad security system, but that is no problem, the internet is only for short distance, and the neighbors are far enough away. so if hacking is the only way, please inform me thanks a lot.

A quick search on google shows no information on a 0xb9 router. I suspect that is not actually it's model. Typically, most SOHO Router's have a label on the underside that shows the model number. Also, somewhere on the unit will be the brand name (manufacturer's name).

This is the information you need to search for a manual.

If the router you have is so old, or so obscure that there is no manual available for it then the simple solution is, buy a new router and replace the old junker.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
