How do I cascade an Airport Extreme with a Verizon MIFI? I want to use the Verizon MIFI as the ISP and cascade it with the Airport Extreme to continue using the network printing and sound system as part of the Airport Extreme features. Has anybody done this and is there a step be step guide to set this up? Thanks

Seen this question a few times now.

solution is difficult since these two devices are similiar except the mifi only allows wireless connections.

Only way I can see bridging these is to put a pc between the two and use ICS.

Pc would connect wirelessly to the mifi while also being connected wired to the airport.

You would need to configure the airport at a static ip in the ICS [912.168.0.1 for host nic] range of 192.168.0.x. I would assign to the airport for management.

Since the host nic acts as a dhcp server for the lan segment your lan devices would get ips with the proper gateway entry.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

Thanks for your assistance. Sounds like it is complicated beyond my expertise. Seems that Verizon needs a new product since they are carrying Apple products now. Happy New Year.
