Imagine there are 5 PC in an office all the PC's are networked together, all in the same work group. Internet access comes via ADSL through a soho router fiewall. How do I block two of the five PC's from accessing the internet.Tim

Check the documentation of the router. You should be able to block by IP or MAC address. Just a question though; Do the users have accounts on every computer? If so, what's to stop the users from logging into one of the other computers and accessing the net that way?

I had thought of IP or mac address blocking and the fact that a user could easily move to another PC. I was wondering if there was another way I had not thought of?Thanks

Seems unfair to two people. Why not deny internet access to all and secure your group at the same time?
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
