how multicast mapping works

i have a big confusion...in fact m running lack of information...when an ip multicast address is mapped to a hardware address, then how that h/w will detect the grp packet at data link layer?because the h/w has it's own unique h/w address which will obviosuly start from 00-,bacause if not then it will become a multicast address which start from 01...so hw dis thing is done??? hope my question is clear

By enabling IGMP snoofing,whenever switch is going to receive multicast address,it checks its multicast database & forward the frame to particular group.
