How does your company deal with inventory and Fiscal services?

For example I use Track-IT to inventory our pcs. We manually track all network equipment using spreadsheets. We asset tag everything.

Fiscal services needs to account for all the purchases. They have a sheet that tracks purchases to costs and the asset tag number.

Since these are different programs and the only commonality it the asset tag number how do you get them to relate?

How does your company account for IT purchases and inventory?
