Just set up my wireless network, running 2 computers...

Desktop: Windows 98
Laptop: XP Pro

Both computers are successfully connecting to the internet through the router.

I was able to set up a shared directory on my desktop (Win 98).

I'm really not sure where to go from here. I guess my initial questions are as follows:
* When attempting to set up a shared folder on XP, I want to permission it just to my desktop. What is the name of my desktop or how do I name it?
* How do I find the shared folder on the network once established?

only you know the name of the computer.

giving permmison to the desktop gives permisson to everything under it, like the whole computer.

you find it by browseing in net neibourhood, explorer, ect.
