How do i run my laptop through my PC?

Hi,
I have recently cracked the screen on my laptop and need to connect it to my PC to move my files.I need to do this with least amount of cost. Does anyone know how to do this? Cheers Furknee

The problem is normally you can't access it remotely unless you had enabled it before.
They make cheap ide to usb adapters that should work. They are sometimes called something like usb enclosure for laptop drives. They do have limits on current unless powered.
