How do I remove skype as my homepage

Specs: Windows 7
don't recall making skype my default internet application but apparently it has taken over. Not sure how but how do I remove same without losing my skype connection?

You should be able to open whichever browser you want to use and many will tell you that they aren't set as the default browser, & do you want it to be set as default - you choose 'yes' and that should override Skype without changing anything else. Otherwise, open the browser and look under the 'tools' or 'options' menu and there should be a tick-box to set the browser as default.

If that doesn't work then the easiest way is to make sure you know your username and password, uninstall Skype, make sure your internet application is as you want it, then reinstall it taking time to read every tick-box so you avoid the ones that make changes you don't want. Your account is still saved with Skype, so as long as you know you Skype name and password you can always get back onto it.
