How do I network two computers for using the same internet account and making mine the host server. I want to hook up my old 200 MHz 32MB RAM and my new 600Mhz 64MB RAM one runs window 98 and other window 98 SE is this possible. Will this slow me down?

No, need NT or W2K, external modem, two nic cards, a crossover cable, not really worth it as only one computer can access the modem at any given time.

Sure... the computer with the Modem... run WINPROXY http://www.winproxy.com which offers NAT which acts as a gateway for your other computer. If you are using a dial up modem, then you just need 1 NIC card in each computer and a cross over able to connect the computers together.
the network traffic will go from one NIC to the other and the internet traffic will go through your dial-up adapter/modem etc.
Dont use the proxy setting eventhough winproxy is a proxy... use the NAT feature so it acts like a gateway/router instead.

Install modem on machine running SE and use Internet Connection Sharing. Type ICS into search on SE machines HELP screen to get all the info you need to set it up.

You don't need Win NT or Win2K, or a proxy.
Enable NetBIOS on both machines, hook them up through a hub with the cable modem plugged into the uplink port, and your online.
