Subject: How do I make my laptop wireless?
OS: Windows XP Home
CPU/Ram: 1.9ghz,768mb RAM
Model/Manufacturer: Pentium 4
Comment:
I recently changed ISP and I now have a sagem router.
My desktop is currently wired to this has it as my desktop pc does not have wireless capability.
I have an oldish Patriot 2000 laptop which has 4 USB ports.
Would I be able to make my laptop wireless by by connecting a wireless 11g USB adapter?
And if I wanted to make my desktop wireless do I have to install a wireless network card and if so where does this go in my PC?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

If both lappy and Tower have USB ports you can buy two 54g USB Wireless Adaptors

It would be best to keep your desktop hardwired to the router unless you planed on moving it to a location without wired access. Speed is always faster and safer in a wired setup.
